Since 1986, Solevo Carpet has grown alongside the changing world of hospitality and commercial interiors. What began with a focus on carpet manufacturing has developed over decades into a broader understanding of design, materials, craftsmanship and large-scale project delivery.
Our manufacturing experience spans Axminster carpet, Wilton carpet, tufted carpet, printed carpet , carpet tile and hand tufted carpet, allowing us to approach each project according to its design intent rather than a single method of production. From yarn preparation and colour development to weaving, finishing and final inspection, every stage is supported by specialised production teams and established quality control procedures.
Over the years, working with projects across different markets has shaped the way we manufacture. Hotels and commercial spaces demand more than visual impact — carpets must balance design, material, performance, durability and consistency across often complex project requirements. This understanding has become an important part of how Solevo develops and produces carpet today.
With decades of manufacturing knowledge behind us, we continue to invest in new techniques, materials and production capabilities while preserving the craftsmanship and attention to detail that define a well-made carpet.
For Solevo, manufacturing is not separate from design. It is the process through which an idea, a colour and a pattern are transformed into something made for the space in which it will live.
Solevo Carpet has been actively participating in major carpet and design exhibitions around the world for many years, from DOMOTEX in Germany to professional exhibitions across Europe, North America , Asia and other key markets.
For us, exhibitions are not simply a place to showcase our carpets. They are an important opportunity to stay close to the latest carpet design trends and changing requirements in the hospitality and commercial sectors.
Through direct conversations with architects, interior designers, procurement teams and project partners, we gain first-hand insight into evolving preferences in patterns, colours, textures, materials and carpet constructions, as well as the practical requirements of hotels and commercial spaces.
This direct market feedback plays an important role in our product development. It helps us refine existing collections and develop new designs that respond to real project needs and emerging design directions.
By maintaining close contact with the global hospitality and commercial design community, Solevo continues to understand where carpet design is heading and what clients are looking for in their future projects.
At Solevo Carpet, design begins with an understanding of space. Our design team works across hospitality and commercial interiors, considering how colour, pattern, texture and scale interact with architecture, materials and the overall atmosphere of a project.
Design Research
Our approach is informed by contemporary hospitality and commercial interiors, international design exhibitions, material developments and projects across different markets. Rather than simply following trends, we observe how interiors are evolving — from changing colour palettes and material combinations to new approaches to pattern, texture and spatial experience — and translate these influences into new carpet designs.
Colour Development
Colour is considered as part of the complete interior palette. Working with designers’ references, material samples and project specifications, we develop and refine each shade to create the right relationship between the carpet and the surrounding finishes, furniture and materials.
Pattern Development
Pattern is developed with the space in mind. Proportion, scale, rhythm and repetition are carefully considered in relation to the architecture and the way the carpet will be experienced within the interior. Each concept is refined for the selected carpet construction while retaining the character and intention of the original design.
Sampling & Refinement
Physical sampling allows us to bring colour, pattern, texture and material together and evaluate the design as a whole. Through this process, details are adjusted and refined before production, ensuring that the finished carpet reflects both the original concept and the character of the space it was created for.
Quality at Solevo Carpet is controlled throughout the manufacturing process, from yarn and colour to construction and final appearance. Each production batch is inspected and tested against defined quality standards before leaving the factory.
Our testing facilities allow us to evaluate the key characteristics that determine how a carpet will perform over time. Colour is assessed under controlled lighting conditions to ensure shade consistency, while yarn strength, colour fastness and tuft retention are tested to verify the integrity of the carpet construction.
Performance is equally important. Hexapod and wear testing simulate repeated foot traffic, helping us assess changes in appearance and surface performance under demanding hospitality and commercial conditions. Backing and adhesive performance are also monitored to ensure stability and durability throughout the carpet’s service life.
Testing is combined with visual inspection at key stages of production, allowing colour, texture, pattern and finish to be reviewed alongside technical performance.
For Solevo Carpet, quality control is not simply a final inspection. It is a continuous process of measurement, evaluation and refinement — ensuring that every carpet meets the standards expected for professional hospitality and commercial interiors.
